Lobivia arachnacantha (Yellow Form) is a captivating, small, cluster-forming native to areas of Bolivia. This cacti is also classified as Echinopsis ancistrophora subsp. arachnacantha depending on literature. However, the species name "arachnacantha" comes from the Greek for "with spider web-shaped spines” which is a very good way to describe the spines on these plants. It has dark reddish-green body, spidery spines and beautiful spectacular flowers. Flowers appear in mid to late spring and often keep producing new blooms until mid to late summer.

Like most cactus, Lobivia arachnacantha grows best in a gritty, well-draining mix which allows it's roots to dry in-between watering. This plant grows best in partial shade where it can get all the benefits of bright light without being scorched on hot days.

Each living plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, colour, or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available.

(You will receive a bare rooted plant similar to the ones in the pictures provided)
